Job description

Overview

This position involves supervising control functions throughout the rollout of new systems and projects, ensuring smooth operations. Key duties include managing month-end closing procedures for Distribution Centers (DCs), overseeing reviews on bad debt and legal statuses, and handling daily financial activities at designated DCs. The role requires close cooperation with sales teams to support operational excellence and implement sales go-to-market plans. Additionally, it involves support for supply chain Invoice to Cash (I2C) activities and maintaining control over third-party logistics (3PL), second-party logistics (2PL), hyper distribution centers, stockists, and distributors. Regular market visits, accounts receivable aging analyses, and critical evaluation of customer credit proposal forms (CCPFs) are conducted to uphold strong sales and financial health. Preparing dashboards and monitoring KPIs to furnish leadership with actionable insights is a significant responsibility.

  • Efficiently manage and engage with multiple stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and senior management, ensuring clear communication channels.
  • Coordinate seamlessly across different departments, especially with the finance planning team, to meet organizational objectives.
  • Apply advanced financial modeling alongside strong analytical skills to support business decisions.
  • Perform effectively under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Support supply chain and sales finance activities related to invoice to cash and logistics partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated coordination skills among various departments and finance planning units.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analytical tasks.
  • Ability to work resiliently under pressure and maintain dedication to deliverables.
  • Educational credentials ideally include an MBA or equivalent professional qualifications such as CPA, CIMA, CA, or ACCA.
  • Have 3 to 4 years of experience working in the FMCG sector in financial or related roles.
