Overview

ClickForge is seeking a meticulous and analytical Competitive Pricing Analyst based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, working onsite. This full-time position operates within the Pricing & Commercial department during the 2 PM to 11:30 PM IST shift, Monday through Friday. The primary goal of this role is to provide detailed market intelligence related to the heavy-duty truck and industrial parts sector by monitoring competitor pricing, promotional activities, and emerging market dynamics.

Core Duties

  • Conduct thorough research on competitor digital platforms such as websites, online catalogs, and price lists to gather pricing information from authorized public sources.
  • Observe competitor initiatives including promotions, rebates, bulk deals, pallet pricing, and specific category campaigns.
  • Follow industry trends driven by tariffs, sourcing changes, and competitor strategies impacting market conditions.
  • Cross-reference competitor products with internal part numbers based on detailed descriptions, specifications, and applications to ensure accurate product mapping.
  • Create and regularly update a structured pricing database covering key competitors like Automann, Sampa, and other assigned brands while documenting source details, pricing timelines, and purchasing conditions.
  • Analyze pricing trends to detect significant market changes affecting various product categories.
  • Prepare concise reports summarizing competitor pricing behaviors and actionable insights for internal teams.
  • Maintain thorough documentation to guarantee traceability and quick refresh of research data.
  • Coordinate with Pricing and Business Intelligence teams to streamline data presentation and support Power BI integration efforts.
  • Alert leadership to atypical pricing movements, novel competitor programs, or strategic shifts in the market.

Required Education and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • At least two years of proven experience in market research, pricing analysis, competitive intelligence, product research, or commercial analytics.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, including functions like lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Proficient in online research and comprehensive data collection.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately match products and part numbers.
  • Capable of managing substantial volumes of data independently.
  • Strong English communication skills, particularly in writing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Automotive Aftermarket, Heavy-Duty Truck Parts, Industrial Distribution, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Expertise in product catalog management and part-number cross-referencing techniques.
  • Familiar with Power BI as a report consumer.
  • Insight into competitor pricing models, rebate structures, and distribution channel pricing.
