Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Architect position in Bhubaneswar involves engagement in every phase of architectural projects—from concept creation and schematic design to detailed drawings and construction monitoring. Daily tasks include producing architectural designs, generating 2D and 3D drawings and models, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants, and preparing documentation required for approvals and construction execution. The role involves client interactions to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and refining solutions based on feedback. The Architect will also assist in project management functions such as scheduling, coordinating contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with design intent, regulations, and quality standards throughout the project's duration.

Candidate Criteria

• Strong background in architectural concepts, space planning, and detailed drawing preparation.
• Experience integrating design components and building systems through cooperation with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Familiarity with software development or relevant design and visualization platforms, with adaptability to evolving digital workflows.
• Proven project management skills including planning, coordination, timeline monitoring, and handling documentation for multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent; professional registration or licensure is preferred.
• Competence in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent, and exposure to visualization tools.
• Knowledgeable about local building regulations, codes, and approval procedures applicable in Bhubaneswar or similar regions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to clearly present designs and collaborate with clients, consultants, and site personnel.
• Meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and willingness to work on-site including regular site visits.
