Role Overview
Join the Appointed Actuary Department as an Actuarial Analyst supporting general insurance reporting. You'll ensure compliance with regulatory standards, prepare detailed analyses, and contribute to core projects that support both business functions and community wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver statutory and regulatory insurance reports with in-depth analysis and clear explanations.
- Enhance general insurance reporting processes by streamlining operations, optimizing analytics, and maintaining thorough controls and documentation.
- Participate in project management activities, including supporting the annual bonus communication exercise.
- Support the Prophet modeling initiative aimed at improving inforce management of the Par Fund.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related actuarial experience.
- Progress in actuarial professional examinations demonstrated.
- Excellent communication and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Open to embracing new challenges and expanding beyond comfort zones.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word preferred.
- Familiarity with Prophet software is highly advantageous.
