Job Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Finance and Compliance professional to oversee statutory compliance, taxation, audits, financial reconciliations, and management information reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate robust accounting expertise, direct experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, and strong analytical along with communication capabilities.
Key Duties
- Manage statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and relevant regulations.
- Facilitate internal, statutory, tax, and compliance audits.
- Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns timely to ensure legal adherence.
- Review ledger entries to confirm accounting accuracy.
- Conduct bank and inter-company account reconciliations.
- Record accounting transactions maintaining adherence to standards.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for leadership evaluation.
- Support financial reporting, compliance documentation, and audit processes.
- Maintain compliance with Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Companies Act requirements.
- Promote process enhancements and reinforce financial controls.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Extensive understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance obligations.
- Experience managing audit and regulatory compliance functions.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and financial data analysis.
- Sound grasp of accounting concepts and reconciliation techniques.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Competencies
- Familiarity with Direct and Indirect Tax laws.
- Awareness of compliance under the Companies Act.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
