Job description
Role Overview
The Revenue Solution Architect role is positioned within the Energy division as a technical delivery leader who bridges customers with internal teams and product development groups. This role is distinct from commercial pre-sales as it carries no sales targets but centers on delivering AI solutions, integration designs, and technology enablement both externally and internally.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers on exploring energy business workflows using AI and data solutions by shifting dialogue from raw data feeds to actionable, repeatable workflows.
- Translate client goals into feasible solutions using approved products, data sets, and integrations, creating precise technical designs that lower delivery risks.
- Understand available data endpoints and use cases to recommend existing or develop new workflows and AI prompts.
- Support prototyping and proofs of concept by assessing feasibility and documenting outcomes and reusable design patterns.
- Partner with customers to clarify technical requirements and shape solutions around energy market use cases, facilitating data exploration via AI tools and datasets.
- Address technical challenges and adoption barriers with evidence-based insights derived from platform capabilities and prior experiences.
- Lead internal AI training efforts to elevate AI knowledge and practical skills across the Energy division, contributing to playbooks and training materials.
- Standardize technical documentation, including discovery and architecture records, ensuring consistent formats.
- Collaborate across Business Line SMEs, Commercial, Technology, and Product teams to guarantee solutions are deployable, maintainable, and comply with current standards.
- Provide structured feedback to product development based on customer and delivery insights to influence the product roadmap.
- Manage multiple stakeholder inputs in a matrix environment to meet fast-paced deadlines.
- Employ the Databricks ecosystem to integrate data from various sources using techniques such as Lakehouse Federation and Unity Catalog governance, implementing AI proof-of-concepts for semantic data querying.
- Design and develop modular, reusable AI workflow components encapsulating domain-specific logic.
- Enable Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to expand AI tool capabilities, enabling secure access to diverse data endpoints and APIs.
- Troubleshoot delivery stack issues, including API performance, cloud infrastructure, authentication, and pipeline stability, while instrumenting observability for SLA adherence.
- Architect strategies for token management and context optimization to ensure AI solutions operate efficiently, scale well, and control costs.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years’ experience in solution architecture, technical enablement, or technology delivery-related roles.
- Keen familiarity with energy markets and enthusiasm to explore key themes through data.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and AI tools including Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Claude, Copilot, and Gemini.
- Understanding of AI frameworks and orchestration for agentic systems with the ability to develop deployable client solutions.
- Proficiency in creating and reviewing technical documents such as architecture diagrams, integration flows, and non-functional requirements related to performance, security, and availability.
- Effective communication skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders, including preparation of concise written materials.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
