What the Role Entails
As a Process Engineer specializing in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), you will be instrumental in tackling complex challenges in display and semiconductor chip fabrication. You will be engaged with some of the most advanced technological processes and collaborate closely with leading R&D teams globally, contributing to innovative research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, analyze, and report on moderately complex process engineering experiments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct hardware characterization on moderately challenging systems within safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot process engineering issues of intermediate complexity through root cause analysis and resolution.
- Assess film properties, systematically compile and interpret experimental data for review.
- Prepare internal documentation including product specifications, presentations, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with customers under general supervision to address and resolve process-related concerns.
- Engage with vendors and suppliers to support technology implementation and product requirements.
- Apply new technologies, products, and analytical tools to enhance manufacturing processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering disciplines.
- Experience in process development focused on thin film or deposition technologies.
- Capability to operate within a cleanroom or laboratory environment.
- A resourceful, detail-oriented mindset combined with strong problem-solving skills.
Work Location and Additional Details
- The position is based in Fusionopolis, Singapore.
- This is a full-time regular role with no travel requirements.
- Relocation support is available for eligible candidates.
