Role Overview
This position entails managing all aspects of hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and financial success. You'll uphold company policies, brand standards, and compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, leading hotel teams toward service excellence and ongoing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily functions across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services.
- Maintain superior guest satisfaction by overseeing service quality and promptly resolving feedback.
- Implement and enforce hotel operational standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines.
- Track and optimize financial performance, including revenue management, cost controls, budgeting, and profitability.
- Collaborate with Finance teams regularly to assess P&L results and initiate necessary improvements.
- Plan workforce needs, manage scheduling, and maximize staff productivity.
- Handle recruitment, staff training, coaching, and professional development to foster engaged, high-performing teams.
- Ensure adherence to all Saudi regulatory, municipal, health, safety, and food safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, and Marketing departments to support hotel occupancy, promotional campaigns, and revenue growth.
- Manage maintenance, asset care, and facility readiness.
- Participate in pre-opening preparations, renovations, and other projects as required.
- Prepare detailed operational reports for senior management review.
- Represent the hotel in meetings with airport authorities, partners, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in hotel operations, including at least 5 years in senior managerial roles.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operational processes and guest service excellence.
- Experience with airport hotels or related hospitality sectors is advantageous.
- Strong financial insight with a proven track record managing budgets and profit & loss statements.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on people management and team development.
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various hours and travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
