Job Overview

The firm is seeking an experienced architect skilled in housing, hospitality, or large residential projects. This role blends design creativity with planning, drawing coordination, and project tracking. While excellence in every skill is not mandatory, candidates must have contributed to substantial architectural projects and demonstrate readiness to assume responsibility within a growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and design phases for housing, hospitality, and residential projects, including site layouts, building plans, circulation, and spatial concepts.
• Create design alternatives aligned with project needs, site specifics, and regulations, contributing to the project's architectural identity.
• Develop approved concepts into detailed architectural drawings comprising floor plans, elevations, sections, and area statements.
• Coordinate architectural aspects with structural, services, landscape, and interior consultants and address planning, functional, and technical questions.
• Prepare and manage architectural working drawings, schedules, and revisions ensuring clarity and coordination for execution.
• Collaborate with consultants across disciplines and internal design teams, ensure follow-ups on documentation and decisions, and support project reviews.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for client meetings, incorporate feedback, and clearly communicate design ideas.
• Make periodic site visits to monitor work against approved drawings, resolve on-site design issues, and support implementation phases.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 3 to 8 years of practical experience, preferably in housing, hospitality, resorts, hotels, large residences, or similar sectors.
• Strong grasp of architectural planning, design development, and proficient in preparing drawings and presentations.
• Experience collaborating with building services and consultant teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of SketchUp; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
• Competent with presentation software and fundamental knowledge of building regulations and approval processes.
• Ability to manage multiple design documents and adapt to project demands.
• Effective communication, coordination skills, eagerness to learn, accountability, and teamwork orientation.

Ideal Candidate Profiles

• Professionals from architecture and planning firms, housing and real estate developers, hospitality design companies, or design-build firms.
• Experience with hotel, resort, group housing, or mixed-use and private residential developments is beneficial.
• Preference for candidates with experience spanning both housing and hospitality sectors; expertise in one is also welcome.
