About the internship
About the Internship
This internship involves performing comprehensive quality control (QC) checks on video content prior to its ingestion and publishing. Responsibilities include verifying video and audio parameters such as resolution, frame rate, synchronization, distortions, presence of black frames, and playback errors. The intern will review subtitle files (SRT) for synchronization accuracy and detect burnt-in subtitle issues. Additionally, they must ensure all required components such as disclaimers, slates, logos, and end credits comply with platform standards. Proper mapping and availability of associated assets including artwork, metadata, trailers, and master files must be confirmed. The role also requires maintaining detailed QC reports and collaborating with internal teams to address any identified issues through replacement files and rechecks.
