Technician - Property Systems

Job Overview

This role requires adherence to company policies and safeguarding company assets while effectively addressing guests' service requirements. Collaboration and communication with other employees via electronic tools are essential to maintain a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving software, hardware, internet, and peripherals.
• Report significant malfunctions or defective equipment to external vendors or technicians.
• Resolve system errors by diagnosing and correcting issues or terminating faulty programs.
• Operate computers and related peripheral controls through command inputs and activations.
• Perform inspections, tests, and diagnostics on computer systems and devices.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all technology equipment.
• Support server systems, software, and computer networks; assist with network communications.
• Upgrade and maintain hardware, software, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Conduct system backups and ensure secure storage of backup media and computer/telephone facilities.
• Provide support to end users, including managing accounts, setting up or removing access, and password resets to ensure data confidentiality.
• Install, configure, and modify workstations and associated accessories such as cables, docking stations, laptops, and printers.
• Utilize technical documentation, user consultations, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate users on securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and following proper procedures.
• Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds safely as part of equipment management.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of experience in a related technical field.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.
• No specific licenses or certifications mandated.
