Role Overview

We seek a Senior Fullstack Developer with minimum 6 years professional experience specializing in Python, React.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Terraform. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications. The candidate will be responsible for complete feature delivery, building robust Python backends, performant React frontends, backed by efficient MongoDB databases, and deployed on AWS infrastructure managed through Terraform. Collaboration with architects, product managers and engineering teams in an Agile environment is integral.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django applying principles like clean architecture and SOLID.
• Develop asynchronous backend systems for high throughput and low latency tasks using Python async libraries.
• Implement background job execution and scheduling via Celery to ensure reliable processes.
• Write thorough unit and integration tests with Pytest to ensure high code coverage and reliable regression performance.
• Maintain Python code quality standards using formatter and linter tools like Black, Flake8, and MyPy.
• Construct scalable and responsive React applications in TypeScript utilizing modern hooks and delivering pixel-perfect, accessible UI.
• Manage complex state via Redux Toolkit, React Query, or Context API ensuring smooth data flow and application performance.
• Integrate frontend React components with Python backend APIs and GraphQL, handling asynchronous data, errors, and caching strategies.
• Develop reusable React component libraries adhering to design system norms, including documentation and use of tools such as Storybook.
• Conduct unit, component, and end-to-end testing of frontend code with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright.
• Design MongoDB schemas utilizing best document model practices; create and optimize aggregation pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Administer MongoDB Atlas databases including configuration, monitoring, scaling, and performance optimization.
• Implement Redis caching for session management, API response caching, and rate limiting critical to high traffic scenarios.
• Work alongside data engineers and architects to design efficient data access patterns across MongoDB and relational databases.
• Architect and deploy full stack solutions on AWS using EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, DocumentDB, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
• Manage AWS infrastructure with modular Terraform scripts ensuring reusable and version-controlled cloud resources.
• Enforce AWS security best practices including least privilege IAM policies, KMS encryption, Secrets Manager, and Cognito authentication.
• Design and maintain serverless components with AWS Lambda and Step Functions to build scalable event-driven workloads.
• Set up monitoring and observability pipelines on AWS through CloudWatch, X-Ray, structured logging, and alerts for production reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions automating build, tests, infrastructure deployment, and application releases across environments.
