Role Overview

This role involves primarily working independently after an initial training period, delivering LPG cylinders throughout the wider Dunedin and Otago regions. The position is physically demanding, requiring regular handling, loading, and unloading of LPG cylinders on delivery trucks. Rockgas maintains a strong commitment to health and safety, requiring adherence to safe workplace practices at all times.

Requirements

• Possession of a full Class 2 driver's licence.
• Previous truck driving experience, especially in delivery roles, is advantageous.
• A strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Good physical fitness to safely manage LPG cylinders.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• High work ethic, integrity, and ability to adapt.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours and in all weather conditions.
• Clearing a recruitment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing, plus a criminal background check.
