Position Overview

Join Sodexo as a Dishwasher supporting kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food preparation and service areas. This full-time, onsite role based in Columbus, OH, involves handling dishwashing duties and maintaining hygiene standards to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.

Work Schedule and Location

This position operates on weekday morning shifts. Additional details regarding work hours will be shared during the interview process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean dishes manually or using dishwashing machines.
• Sanitize work surfaces, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks regularly.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors to maintain kitchen hygiene.
• Properly dispose of trash and garbage to assigned areas.
• Use designated chemicals to clean equipment ensuring sanitary standards.
• Restock cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, and other essentials as needed.
• Perform physical tasks including walking or standing for extended periods during shifts exceeding 8 hours.
• Lifting or moving materials weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to punctuality and attendance requirements, showing up reliably for scheduled shifts.
• Undertake other assigned duties based on business needs and client requirements, which may vary by account.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No prior work experience necessary.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures is preferred.
