Deli Assistant

Overview

This role focuses on preparing top-quality hot and cold deli items while prioritizing excellent customer satisfaction. The position is full-time and based at Carnmore Centra, H91 W9KH.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders including sandwiches, rolls, hot food dishes, and sliced meats utilizing store portion control methods.
• Cook, prepare, and present food products for sale throughout operating hours.
• Maintain exceptional presentation standards for all counter displays in fresh food departments consistently during the day.
• Showcase enthusiasm for quality food by sharing recipes, knowledge, and personal suggestions with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and according to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Training in HACCP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Passion for food and ability to motivate shoppers.
