Coordinator

About the role

Working under the supervision of the Centre Supervisor, the coordinator will assist in the smooth running of the assigned Active Ageing Centre (AAC). The role ensures that all activities and services adhere to the goals established by funding bodies and Loving Heart (LH).

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, oversee, and implement activities that promote the physical health, social interaction, and overall well-being of elderly community members
• Engage in outreach efforts to identify seniors who are socially isolated or vulnerable
• Supervise and coordinate volunteer participation in delivering centre activities and services
• Compile reports and evaluate programme effectiveness
• Monitor and record programme participation rates and outcomes

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of one year experience in facilitating programmes and handling operational responsibilities
• Possession of WSQ certification or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Experience in hands-on operational roles as well as programme facilitation
• Capability to handle and move equipment such as tables and chairs needed for programme setup
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a team
