Role Overview

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be part of a driven and skilled team scaling our platform from pilot phase to enterprise level. You will design scalable architectures on AWS supporting tens of thousands of users, architect caching solutions, implement multi-region deployments with federation strategies to maintain responsiveness globally, and ensure secure access to sensitive data. Your consulting mindset will influence architectural decisions, promote best practices, and help deliver results.

Key Duties

• Design and architect the platform to support enterprise scale usage on AWS.
• Assess scalability of Postgres/Supabase backend and create caching, multi-region, and global federation frameworks.
• Lead load testing planning and define responsiveness metrics across regions.
• Ensure security and access control meet stringent requirements for sensitive content.
• Develop architecture diagrams, maintain decision records, and set technical standards.
• Mentor and guide engineers in cloud best practices and architectural patterns.
• Specify non-functional requirements such as availability, resilience, cost-effectiveness, and system observability.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to satisfy enterprise governance.
• Support build-versus-buy analyses and perform technology evaluations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 8 years engineering experience, including minimum 3 years in architecture roles.
• Proven senior-level experience designing cloud architectures on AWS; certifications like Solutions Architect Professional are favored.
• Expertise building large-scale, low-latency, distributed systems deployed across multiple regions.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms, data federation strategies, and performance/load testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of security architectures, including role-based and attribute-based access controls (RBAC/ABAC).
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep familiarity with networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), cost optimization techniques, and observability tools.
• Ability to integrate within enterprise software development lifecycles and operate independently from day one.
• Excellent communication skills with proven leadership in managing stakeholders and technical teams.
