Role overview
This position sits at the center of the tendering process and focuses on building accurate, well-structured, and competitive submissions. The role involves reviewing opportunities, understanding client requirements, coordinating inputs from different stakeholders, and preparing both technical and commercial bid documents within firm deadlines. It suits someone who works well under pressure, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys improving the quality and win rate of every proposal.
Core responsibilities
- Track and evaluate tender opportunities to determine suitability and requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate complete bid submissions, covering both technical and commercial content.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to collect the information needed for proposals.
- Interpret tender specifications and resolve clarification points during the bid process.
- Maintain organized tender records, documentation, and submission reports.
- Support post-submission follow-up activities and communication.
- Ensure all tender activity complies with SHEQ-related requirements.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline. You should have at least 3 years of experience in tendering, bid coordination, or technical sales support, along with hands-on experience preparing technical and commercial proposals. Strong communication ability in both French and English is required, as well as the capacity to read and interpret technical documentation. Good analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and a valid driving license are also essential.
