Role overview
The VIC Glass Division is hiring a Stock Controller for a newly established role. This position is central to managing spare parts for machinery and glass inventory, keeping stock accurate, arranging replenishment on time, and coordinating the movement of goods. It is a hands-on opportunity suited to someone who likes improving systems, putting processes in place, and shaping a role from the ground up.
The job combines practical warehouse involvement with administrative inventory control duties, all within a manufacturing setting.
Key duties
- Oversee inventory and stock control systems for machinery spare parts and glass stock.
- Track stock levels and organise reordering and replenishment as needed.
- Keep records up to date through data entry, stock corrections, and regular reporting.
- Handle incoming and outgoing goods so they are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist with supplier coordination and processing invoices.
- Spot opportunities to improve stock control processes and help put those improvements into practice.
- Work alongside warehouse and maintenance teams to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

- Previous experience in stock control, inventory administration, or warehouse support.

- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
