Role overview
This position is for a hands-on sign installation professional who will place finished signage and graphics in a range of settings, including ground-mounted, wall-mounted, and ceiling-hung applications. The work calls for strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to complete precise installations across different job sites. Day-to-day tasks involve assembling, erecting, and hanging materials using tools and working with flat panel substrates, post-and-panel projects, and pressure-sensitive vinyl.
The role is varied and fast-moving, with frequent coordination between sales and production teams, direct communication with customers, and visible results throughout the local community.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret written directions and installation layouts to complete signage projects accurately, including flat panel signs, post-and-panel systems, vinyl graphics, and ADA signage for both indoor and outdoor locations.
- Carry out pre-installation site surveys to collect the information needed for quoting, planning, and production.
- Keep a clear written schedule of installation commitments and ensure deadlines and project timelines are met.
- Review signage carefully and apply quality checks to confirm correct completion and strong customer satisfaction.
- Work safely with ladders, scaffolding, hydraulic lifts, hand tools, power tools, and common construction methods.
- Maintain effective communication with teammates, sales staff, and customers while presenting a professional image in the field.
- Follow industry safety standards, company procedures, and business ethics, and operate company vehicles responsibly while keeping a clean driving record.
Required profile

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sign installation is required.
- You must be physically capable of standing or kneeling for long periods, lifting at least 50 pounds, and climbing ladders or scaffolding safely.
- Comfort working at heights and performing repetitive vinyl application tasks over waist-high surfaces is necessary.
- You need to be able to work in changing temperatures and outdoor weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, solid troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to produce high-volume, high-quality work under pressure are essential.
- You should be able to work independently as well as contribute effectively in a team setting.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Preferred knowledge includes vinyl graphics, signage production, safe use of power equipment, and general construction tools.

Schedule and working conditions
