Job purpose
This role is focused on running direct-channel sales activities for housing finance and related lending products, including builders, connectors, brokers and references. The position supports and guides the Sales Officer team to deliver branch targets, maintain strong customer relationships, and coordinate with Risk, Operations and Sales Governance teams to keep sales activity compliant and efficient. It also involves cross-selling ABHFL and ABC products and solutions based on branch objectives and customer needs.
Job context and key challenges
The business offers housing finance for homebuyers, Loan Against Property, Commercial Property Purchase, Lease Rental Discounting and Construction Finance for builders. Since the business is largely retail-led, it manages a high number of loan transactions and customer relationships, making people, process and organizational efficiency critical to performance. Success depends not only on book growth, but also on profitability and keeping delinquency low. Funding costs can affect both margins and the competitiveness of loan pricing.
For retail customers, the role requires identifying needs across target customer segments quickly and executing in a way that stays compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. For institutional and builder customers, it requires handling complex business requirements through proactive relationship management and tailored solutions, while continuing to comply with all policies and controls.

- Improve customer lifecycle efficiency across sourcing, approval, servicing and collections.
- Coordinate with senior stakeholders and functional teams to ensure smooth execution across distribution channels.
- Improve TATs and process efficiency by working across Risk, Operations and Sales Governance.
- Support adoption of better processes and best practices to improve productivity and overall business impact.
- Execute the cross-selling approach agreed with ASM-ABHFL and help the team align to it.
- Provide the team with communication support, product guidance, training and client interface support where needed to promote cross-sell success.
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen customer acquisition and engagement.
