- Monitor emerging trends and developments through horizon scanning.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across healthcare, government and regulatory environments.
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research, including literature review and evidence synthesis.
- Analyse the current landscape and identify opportunities, risks and constraints.
- Manage project risks and contribute to clear reporting and documentation.
- Prepare findings and recommendations for different audiences and present them confidently.
What is required
- A Level 8 qualification, or an equivalent degree, in a relevant area such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Social Care or Health Services Research.
- At least 3 years of experience planning, managing and delivering projects with multiple stakeholders in health and/or social care settings.
- Proven ability in research and analysis, including literature reviews, evidence synthesis and both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience working with stakeholders and supporting engagement activities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence facilitating groups and working with varied audiences.
- Excellent project management, organisational and report-writing abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities and explain complex information in a clear, accessible way.
Working arrangement
The role is based in Dublin, with a hybrid setup that requires only 1 to 2 days per week on site in Cork.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary of €76,500.
- 27 days of annual leave.
- Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact national project in a respected public-sector setting.
- Exposure to professionals working across research, policy, healthcare and quality improvement.
- Potentially valuable experience for future roles within the sector.
