Overview
The Quality Review Clerk role is a full-time remote position based in East Hartford, CT. It involves routine operational work across inventory control, kitting, audits, shipping and receiving, and handling nonconforming material according to established procedures. The job may also involve shift work and overtime when business needs require it.
Core Responsibilities
- Use standard work instructions and an inventory management system to keep MRB-Quality Clinic inventory records accurate.
- Carry out cycle counts as needed to support inventory control.
- Complete post-disposition activities for the MRB-Quality Clinic.
- Prepare, package, and ship customer-returned material for the Quality Clinic when required.
- Stay up to date with and follow customer, FAA, and JAA technical data applicable to assigned work.
- Support training for other team members.
- Provide technical assistance and maintain effective working relationships with the QRC and Quality Clinic team.
- Take on additional duties as needed, since responsibilities may be adjusted based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing. Overtime may be required, and shift work could be part of the schedule.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in inventory management or in a materials, shipping, receiving, or logistics support position. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Strong communication, planning, problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills are preferred, along with the ability to train others and work effectively with management, customers, and government agencies.
Preferred Experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with experience using SAP or Solumina, or those who have worked with or supported Pratt & Whitney. Familiarity with FAA regulatory requirements, work with government regulatory bodies, and knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, AS9102, and ISO are also preferred.
