Role Summary
This temporary, on-site position in Tuas calls for a QA Coordinator who will help run day-to-day quality assurance and quality control work. The role is centered on making sure products and processes meet internal standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory rules.
Key Duties
The coordinator will oversee quality records and documentation, arrange inspections and testing, look into non-conformance issues, and support corrective and preventive actions. The position also requires close coordination with production, operations, and HSE teams to track quality metrics, assist with audits, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. In addition, the role includes helping train colleagues on quality procedures and supporting the rollout and maintenance of quality management systems.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a strong base in quality assurance, quality control, and quality management, preferably gained in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience working with quality standards, systems such as ISO, audits, and improvement tools will be an advantage. A diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or another relevant technical discipline is preferred, though comparable hands-on experience may also be considered.
Additional Requirements
The role calls for strong analytical thinking to review test results, spot patterns, identify root causes, and suggest workable solutions. Good communication skills are needed to write clear reports, document findings, and work effectively with different teams. The candidate should also bring strong attention to detail, solid organization skills, the ability to juggle several tasks in a busy environment, familiarity with HSE practices in industrial settings, and comfort using standard office and data tools.
