What you'll do

• Build and support sophisticated Python systems that are reliable enough for production use.
• Structure codebases so they are modular, easy to test, and aligned with current Python tooling and best practices, including FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Improve runtime efficiency by profiling code and managing memory effectively.
• Partner with leading AI research teams working on foundation models to help improve model training and evaluation workflows.
• Work autonomously and communicate asynchronously while keeping pace with deadlines and project expectations.

Must-have qualifications

• Prior experience at top-tier US technology companies.
• Strong history of delivering complex Python-based systems.
• Solid command of core Python concepts and language fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and modern Python development practices.

Interview process

• A 90-minute human-led interview centered on Python. AI coding IDEs are not allowed, though LLM tools and Stack Overflow may be used.
