Role Overview

In this Project Manager role, you will keep key milestones on track, support coordination between industry development and technology groups, and provide clear project visibility to senior leadership. The role involves managing several projects across different technology areas and helping teams stay aligned and productive.

This position will suit someone interested in the future of quantum computing and communications, AI and trust, and how these technologies can influence a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor several projects across different teams to ensure steady progress and on-time delivery.
• Enable smooth cooperation between the industry development and technology functions by maintaining clear communication and shared priorities.
• Create and update detailed schedules, status trackers, and project reports that serve as the main source of project information.
• Plan and run regular update meetings for senior leadership, covering progress, issues, and major achievements.
• Spot execution roadblocks early, help resolve them, and support timely decision-making with practical solutions.
• Set up and manage project management systems and workflows to improve transparency and team efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in a fast-moving technology setting.
• Strong ability to organise work and handle multiple projects at the same time.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the confidence to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Working knowledge of project management methods and tools, especially for short-duration project tracking.
• Experience bringing together teams from different functions, especially business development and technology.
• Ability to quickly understand complex technical information and turn it into concise summaries for reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving problems and clearing blockers.
• Interest in emerging technologies and their commercial impact would be an advantage.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
