Join IDEXX as a Product Manager and help steer the growth of its veterinary software ecosystem, including Vello, a platform built to connect veterinary practices with pet owners. In this position, you will work in a collaborative setting and influence products that sit at the heart of the veterinary care journey.

IDEXX’s Veterinary Software division is in the middle of a major shift. What once supported diagnostic customers has become a core strategic business, now serving tens of thousands of veterinary practices around the world with tools that support workflows, diagnostics interpretation, patient care coordination, and pet owner engagement. You will contribute to the next generation of this platform.

What you will do

• Guide ideas from concept through development and launch for new veterinary software offerings.
• Shape the product experience for appointment booking and client engagement features within Vello.
• Research the market and users to uncover customer needs, gaps, and opportunities.
• Represent the product internally as a subject matter expert and champion its vision across the business.
• Build and refine the product business case while weighing user value against commercial goals.
• Keep the backlog organized, prioritized, and filled with clear, high-quality user stories.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day Agile delivery work.
• Work hand in hand with engineering, design, and marketing to deliver polished solutions.
• Support engineering teams continuously and serve as a key decision-making contact for the product.
• Share progress, learnings, and outcomes with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive way.
• Track product performance using data, insights, and key metrics.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and help drive delivery in a scaled environment.
• Create and execute product strategy and roadmaps, including cost-benefit analysis for initiatives.

What you need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience working as a Product Manager or in a closely related product role.
• A track record of managing products through the complete lifecycle.
• Background in B2B or B2B2C environments.
• Strong capability to capture, define, and prioritize product needs.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Practical problem-solving ability with a hands-on, proactive mindset.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SaaS or platform-based products.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches and product-led development practices.
• Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or adjacent domains.
