ജോലി വിവരണം
About the Role
ABB is looking for a Process Technician to help improve how production lines are assembled and operated, with a focus on reducing labor effort while staying aligned with business priorities around quality, efficiency, cost, and safety. In this position, you will work on selecting suitable production methods, managing cycle times, supporting equipment performance, and ensuring the right materials and components are available to meet output targets. You will also contribute to planning the sequence of work for new production processes so they meet product cost goals and equipment investment limits.
This role follows an onsite work model and reports to the Production Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
You will help strengthen production performance by spotting opportunities for improvement, putting better methods into practice, and supporting measurable gains in quality, cost, and efficiency. The role also gives practical exposure to lean methods and structured problem-solving.
You will take responsibility for implementing manufacturing solutions that may be developed internally or with external partners, and you will help confirm that the results meet the required standards. This will build hands-on technical knowledge from the concept stage through execution.
You will work alongside production, maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams during equipment and process start-ups. In this environment, you will contribute to action plans and assist with smooth implementation while developing leadership capability.
You will also evaluate new manufacturing technologies to identify ways to improve productivity, product quality, and sustainability, supporting informed decisions on future production approaches.
Team Environment
The team works in a collaborative, high-performance setting where learning is continuous and everyone supports one another. Your work will have a direct impact on manufacturing outcomes and broader business results.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- Some exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- You should understand production processes, equipment fundamentals, and assembly methods.
- A solid grasp of Lean Manufacturing and a commitment to ongoing improvement are important.
- Strong analytical thinking, persistence, and a drive to solve problems are needed.
- Good spoken and written English skills are required.
- You must show a clear commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
What You Can Expect
ABB offers practical learning, mentorship from experienced engineers, and development opportunities that support your career goals. As a graduate joining the team, you will also have access to structured development programs and a pathway toward more senior engineering roles.
