Private Equity Analyst

Role overview

This contract role is centered on private equity research work, with an emphasis on producing decision-ready analysis that supports investment evaluation, market understanding, and deal assessment.

The position is remote and requires a commitment of more than 10 hours each week. Compensation is set at $130 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create and improve financial models that inform investment decisions.
• Prepare concise investment memos and structured analytical write-ups.
• Carry out market sizing exercises and assess total addressable market potential.
• Review deal-related documents such as CIMs and due diligence materials.
• Assist with deal sourcing by researching and screening potential opportunities.

Core requirements

• Solid understanding of private equity transaction processes and investment analysis.
• Proven ability to build financial models and organize complex analysis effectively.
• Hands-on experience working with transaction documents and diligence materials.
• Ability to turn detailed analysis into clear, well-written insights.
• Reliable performance in independent, project-based work settings.
