Private Equity Analyst

Role overview

This is a remote contract finance role for a subject matter expert who can provide senior-level input on finance content, with a strong focus on private equity and investment banking. The position involves working about 10 to 40 hours per week and offers hourly compensation between $30 and $65.

What you will do

• Offer expert feedback and strategic guidance on finance-focused material, especially content related to private equity and investment banking.
• Examine financial models, reports, and written documents and improve them for correctness, usefulness, and consistency.
• Check AI-produced outputs for accuracy, readability, and compliance with professional finance standards.
• Work with technical teams to translate complex financial ideas into clear written and spoken communication.
• Keep current with emerging practices and developments in finance, particularly in private equity and investment banking.
• Provide actionable recommendations that help improve AI training quality, output quality, and data reliability.

What we are looking for

• Strong finance expertise with proven experience in private equity and/or investment banking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex subjects.
• Sharp analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a careful eye for detail.
• Background in reviewing, editing, or producing sophisticated financial content and materials.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing deadlines and priorities effectively.
