Mobile Scheme Cleaner

About the role

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is hiring a full-time Mobile Cleaner to support schemes in Horncastle and Central Lincolnshire. This position focuses on keeping shared areas clean, safe, and welcoming while maintaining consistently high standards across the sites.

Working pattern

This is a 35-hour per week role, scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no weekend working.

What you will do

• Maintain cleanliness in communal and shared areas across the schemes.
• Help ensure each site is kept in excellent hygienic condition, both indoors and outdoors.
• Deliver a reliable, friendly service to customers and members of the public.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues while also being comfortable carrying out duties alone when required.
• Use sound judgement to keep standards high and follow health and safety practices at all times.
• Adapt to different scheme locations as part of a mobile role.

What we are looking for

• Previous cleaning experience is useful, although full training will be provided.
• Awareness of health and safety, including COSH, would be an advantage.
• A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to presenting schemes in excellent condition.
• A positive, helpful attitude and a professional approach when dealing with others.
• Comfort working in both team-based and lone-working settings.
• Willingness to learn new working methods and adopt technology.
• Good IT skills.
• A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between schemes is required.
• Ability to obtain a DBS check.
• Residence in the Horncastle/Central Lincolnshire area, as the team covers this locality.
