Role overview
This position is for a resourceful and AI-enabled lead generation specialist who can uncover and qualify B2B prospects across Southeast Asian markets. The focus will be on mapping target accounts, finding the right decision-makers, running outreach campaigns, and developing a dependable pipeline for packaging solutions sold to consumer goods businesses.
The role calls for someone with strong communication and research capabilities, sound business judgement, and practical experience with AI-based tools, CRM systems, and modern prospecting platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Research and shortlist potential business customers across Southeast Asia.
- Source qualified leads using AI tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, HubSpot, Apollo, Lusha, Bark, and comparable systems.
- Apply AI-supported research and targeted prospecting techniques to find suitable companies, key decision-makers, and possible buying intent.
- Maintain a clean and updated prospect database with accurate company and contact details.
- Reach out to prospects through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other relevant channels.
- Assess lead quality based on company fit, business need, market relevance, and likelihood of purchase.
- Book meetings and transfer qualified opportunities to the sales or business development team.
- Manage follow-ups consistently and monitor prospect responses.
- Record lead status, interaction history, and next steps in the CRM.
- Track market movements, competitor actions, and fresh business opportunities.
- Create simple lead-generation summaries and pipeline reports for management review.
- Work with internal teams to better understand target segments, offerings, and ideal customer profiles.
Experience and skills required
- At least 2 years of experience in lead generation, B2B prospecting, sales development, market research, or business development.
- Strong command of written and spoken communication.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, Lusha, Bark, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Comfort using AI tools for prospect discovery, lead qualification, message personalisation, and market analysis.
- Good ability in online research, data gathering, and analysis.
- Capability to identify the right companies and reach the appropriate decision-makers.
- Strong follow-up discipline and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing several prospecting activities at once.
- Comfortable dealing with international prospects.
- Background in packaging, trading, manufacturing, exports, or consumer goods is an advantage, though not essential.
