Junior Video Editor

Role overview

This is a full-time junior video editing role based in Mumbai. The position is aimed at candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience, and the compensation can go up to ₹35,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Create and shape video content for the company website as well as its social media platforms.
• Handle recording, cutting, assembling, and polishing both audio and video assets.
• Stay updated on newer editing tools and current industry methods that can help improve speed and output quality.
• Contribute fresh ideas for engaging content and campaign concepts.
• Support growth of online communities by helping expand the audience and encouraging more engagement.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in making videos, telling stories through video, and editing finished pieces; experience in the social sector or blogging is an added advantage.
• Practical knowledge of visual content production, digital tools, video editing applications, and photo editing software.
• A sharp eye for detail, with strong ability in editing, colour correction, and working with sound.
• Capability to shoot and edit vlog-style videos.
• Self-driven and creative, while also being comfortable working with others in a team setting.

Tools and software

The role involves working with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Audition.
