About the Role

In this janitorial role, you’ll contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while supporting both shoppers and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, helpful service that aligns with the company’s fresh shopping experience.
• Greet and support customers in line with store service standards.
• Keep work, storage, and shared areas clean, tidy, and safe through routine housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Maintain common spaces used by staff and customers, including dining areas, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Help with tracking inventory and ordering store supplies when needed.
• Follow company procedures, with strong attention to health and safety, food safety, and correct equipment handling.
• Carry out opening and closing tasks and assist teammates as required.
• Handle other store support duties from time to time to help operations run smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Interest in delivering helpful, high-quality customer service.
• Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning work within a food retail setting is an advantage.
• Ability to work on your own while maintaining strong standards for cleanliness, accuracy, and detail.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organization skills.
• Comfort working in a busy, hands-on environment with multiple deadlines, long periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, protective gear, exposure to noise, dirt, and dust, and occasional cold conditions.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills; French is an asset.
