Position Overview

Crothall Healthcare is seeking to fill a full-time Housekeeper role at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is an immediate opening for someone who can support a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule

The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. Working hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with additional details to be discussed during the interview.

Compensation

This position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.75 per hour.

Role Summary

The housekeeper will carry out light cleaning tasks to help maintain cleanliness across facilities such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. Core duties include making beds, changing and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Key Duties

• Deliver attentive, one-on-one service to customers with a focus on detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.
• Dust and shine furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fittings and other fixed surfaces.
• Empty trash containers and remove waste safely and hygienically.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, bathtubs, and showers.
• Wipe glass surfaces clean.
• Make beds and replace linens when required.
• Arrange furniture and amenities according to the set layout.
• Answer guest questions and respond to service requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills or broken glass.
• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a professional demeanor with guests, colleagues, and others.
• Complete any other related duties assigned by management.

Additional Information
