General Cleaner - 2nd Shift

Role Overview

We are hiring General Cleaners for an academic facility in Aiken, South Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site position on the second shift, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

What the Job Involves

• Keep buildings clean by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down different surfaces.
• Collect waste and empty trash containers.
• Restock, clean, and maintain restroom areas.
• Prepare and dilute cleaning chemicals as directed by product instructions.
• Move furniture, equipment, and other heavy items when needed.
• Spot maintenance or repair issues and pass them along to the right staff.
• Perform floor care tasks when required, such as carpet steam cleaning, waxing, and buffing.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, courteous, hard-working, and willing to put in extra effort when needed.

Qualifications

• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to notice safety risks and report them appropriately.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working to schedules and honoring commitments.
• Able to follow supervisor instructions accurately.
• Professional attitude and conduct.
