FP&A Analyst

About the Team

The FP&A function is being reshaped from a conventional reporting and forecasting group into a more strategic, insight-led team. Instead of relying on manual spreadsheet-heavy processes, the team now works with a warehouse-first setup.

The role sits closely with Commercial Analytics and partners with the Data Analytics team. Using a modern toolkit such as BigQuery, dbt, and Hex, the team focuses on uncovering the reasons behind the numbers, not just producing them. This position suits someone who wants FP&A to act as a proactive business partner rather than a purely reporting-focused function.

About the Role & Impact

In this role, you will connect raw data, financial performance, and commercial decisions. You will help improve and scale reporting, build robust models, track important metrics, and give the wider business better visibility into how it is performing.

Reporting is only the starting point; the real value comes from using analysis to guide business decisions with solid data behind them.

What You Will Do

• Streamline recurring work by automating manual tasks and reporting processes so the team can operate more efficiently and focus on deeper analysis.
• Design and keep up scalable reporting that gives the business dependable insight into commercial and financial results.
• Lead the forecasting process and keep improving it so it becomes more accurate, more automated, and more useful for decision-making.
• Contribute to financial modelling and scenario analysis to test assumptions and support important planning choices.
• Work across Marketing, Operations, and other teams to support forecasting, handle ad hoc analysis, and share insights that help improve business performance.
• Turn analysis into clear commercial narratives and recommendations that help the business understand what actions to take next.

What We’re Looking For

You should bring a background in commercial or finance work and be comfortable with core finance concepts such as P&L, unit economics, and financial metrics.

A strong data mindset is important. The team values a move away from traditional spreadsheet-based reporting toward a warehouse-first way of working. Strong SQL is expected, Python experience is preferred, and experience with Hex or similar visualisation tools is a plus.

This role also suits someone who understands D2C and subscription-style business models, especially where performance marketing and finance overlap. Familiarity with acquisition, CPA, growth, retention, churn, LTV, and cohort performance will help you succeed.

Comfort with AI-powered tools, including LLMs, is also important, as the team uses modern workflows to save time and focus on higher-value analysis.

You must be able to present messy data from multiple sources in a way that is easy for others to understand, with clear models and commentary that tell a consistent story.

Hiring Process

• Step 1: Intro conversation with the Talent Team to check alignment and enthusiasm.
• Step 2: Interview with the Hiring Manager focused on technical depth and day-to-day craft.
• Step 3: Remote interview loop with 2 to 4 focused conversations covering technical ability and collaboration.
• Step 4: Final stage with an offer, equity and benefits discussion, and onboarding.
