Job Purpose

This critical role, based in the UAE, will oversee all operations for the aftermarket ME Geomarket. The Finance Controller will be fully accountable for the period-end close process for designated legal entities and business units. A strong understanding of accounting governance and revenue recognition standards across multiple geographies is essential. The position ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and collaborates closely with operations to achieve key performance indicators and operational targets.

Job Description

  • Provide financial support and strategic business partnering to project and functional managers, focusing on costing, forecasting, budget preparation, and reporting.
  • Manage the monthly forecasting of revenue, margin, and invoicing for the entire business unit.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and analyze opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Lead and implement change initiatives within the business to ensure successful delivery of benefits.
  • Analyze and address any cost overruns within the business unit.
  • Enhance cash flow and business unit performance through the implementation of robust financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial standards and lead internal and external audits for assigned business units.
  • Prepare monthly financial forecasts for the designated legal entity and business unit.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and conduct quarterly Balance Sheet and P&L reviews.
  • Review asset utilization to ensure optimal use of all company assets.
  • Support the team in the successful implementation of SAP S4/Hana across assigned entities.
