About the Role
This position is with Cubic Defense and supports the Royal Saudi Air Force’s F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver and Instrumentation (ACMI) program in Tabūk, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on keeping P-4 SAKITS pods operational through day-to-day support, testing, and maintenance, while working closely with the Site Manager and Field Service Technicians.
Cubic develops technology solutions for transportation and defense, with an emphasis on improving daily journeys, mission success, and safety through innovation and customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Track all P-4 SAKITS pods entering and leaving the pod shop, including serial number, pod type, date, time, and notes.
- Keep daily records of pod status and availability.
- Record elapsed Time Meter readings every month and calculate each pod’s operating time.
- Run and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set according to the relevant technical manuals.
- Carry out Organizational-Level and Intermediate-Level maintenance checks, along with replacement of Shop Replaceable Assemblies on the pods.
- Help operate and maintain display equipment when needed.
- Handle computer operations tasks such as loading programs for testing and operation, running subsystem tests, and loading pre-mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device.
- Maintain control records for DTD issue and return between the team and aircrews.
- Operate graphics terminals during live exercises and assist with display/control functions.
- Support RSAF or aircrews with replay and debrief setup.
- Keep mission tape records and maintain detailed mission event logs with date, time, event, remarks, and operator entries.
- Work directly with RSAF personnel on mission sortie effectiveness.
- Take on additional operational tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor.
- Follow Cubic policies, including conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Support equipment setup for projects when required.
- Collaborate with teammates and assist colleagues to ensure service delivery to the customer.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management as business needs change.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a comparable technical role.
- Ability to follow company standards for field assignments.
- Comfort working in a remote and/or international environment.
- College-level qualification in a technical field, or an equivalent mix of technical education and military experience.
- Preferred: English proficiency certification such as TOEFL, STEP, or another KSA-recognized exam.
- Preferred: Degree in Electronics, Avionics, or Communications Engineering.
- Ability to adapt to remote living and work settings.
- Willingness to work with military and foreign personnel.
- Capability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stay effective under pressure.
- Self-driven, focused, and conscientious approach to work.
- Must be able to obtain, or already hold, RSAF security clearance, including a background check.
