About the role

Roblox is seeking a Developer Relations Manager to lead developer growth strategy across the Middle East. In this position, you will shape the plan, drive execution, and measure outcomes that help expand Roblox’s creator and developer ecosystem in the region.

You will work closely with publishers, developers, emerging studios, and industry partners throughout the Middle East to encourage adoption, speed up development efforts, and foster durable ecosystem partnerships. The role also involves representing Roblox at industry events and partnering with teams across Product, Marketing, Creator, and International functions to strengthen Roblox as a leading destination for high-quality game development.

This position is part of Roblox’s broader mission to connect people through immersive 3D experiences, support creators with powerful tools, and help build safer, more civil shared spaces at scale.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute regional developer growth initiatives for the Middle East.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with publishers, developers, studios, and industry partners.
Act as a strategic advisor to developers and represent Roblox in external industry forums and events.
Work with Product, Marketing, Creator, International, data science, engineering, and leadership teams to support regional growth.
Set team objectives, track progress, and monitor conversation and engagement trends with key partners.
Identify the most important actions needed to improve product growth in the region and translate partner feedback into clear priorities.
Surface regional risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and support decision-making on complex issues.
Share regular updates and reports that clearly communicate the impact of your work.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in technical project management.
Strong ability to communicate proactively with stakeholders at all levels.
Background in launching technical products in international markets.
Hands-on experience with Roblox Studio or another game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
Ability to research quickly and understand the needs of a target audience.
Positive, energetic, and collaborative approach with a strong teamwork mindset.
Comfortable leading by example, setting strategy, and maintaining accountability against long-term goals.
Data- and feedback-driven decision-making style informed by product usage and user insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed with the ability to define workflows and operate independently.
Fluency in both Arabic and English.
Must be based in the UAE or open to relocation there.
Workplace note: office-based roles are onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional attendance on Monday and Friday unless otherwise specified.

Eligibility

This role is suited to experienced professionals in technical project management, developer relations, or related ecosystem-growth functions who have worked with technical products, game development tools, and international markets. Candidates should be fluent in Arabic and English and already be located in the UAE or willing to relocate.
