About the role

Capital SMART is a major accident repair network operating across Australia and New Zealand with more than 60 locations, and the business is seeking an experienced Detailer for a permanent full-time position at its Mile End, South Australia site.

In this role, you will be the final team member to work on a vehicle before it is returned to the customer. Your focus will be on achieving a polished final finish, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring each repair is completed to the Capital SMART standard.

Key duties

• Inspect vehicles when they arrive to confirm that earlier repair work has been completed properly.
• Wash and clean vehicle exteriors to a high-quality standard.
• Carry out buffing, de-nibbing, and polishing to produce the required paint finish.
• Spot paint or surface defects and correct them before the vehicle is handed back.
• Maintain a tidy, well-organised work area.
• Keep clear and accurate records of the work completed.
