About the Data Team

The data team's objective is to deliver crucial insights from our data to the appropriate individuals and tools in a timely manner. As a Data Scientist, you will advance this mission by developing predictive models to forecast behaviors and desired values. You will collaborate with other engineering teams and various business units to understand their needs for predictive models that enhance our services. Your role involves building, training, and evaluating these models with the support of your colleagues. You will manage your work from inception to deployment, continuously assessing performance in the field and implementing improvements based on feedback. You will be instrumental in supporting strategic business and technical decisions, driving profitability and innovation across the company. While primarily responsible for innovative models and pipelines, your impact extends beyond data analysis, enabling more efficient EV charging and contributing to a sustainable, less polluted future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on requirements engineering and ideation within the team and independently.
• Develop and maintain machine learning and statistical models, as well as analytics pipelines, to meet the requirements of both technical and business stakeholders.
• Address complex, open-ended problems by identifying and executing the most effective solutions.
• Design experiments to evaluate new features, pricing strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
• Create, implement, and test prototypes for data-driven products.
• Present key performance indicators and findings to cross-functional teams.
• Actively share knowledge and expertise with team members.

Your Profile

• Possess excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate proven experience in designing and developing machine learning models.
• Showcase experience in designing and developing impactful statistical models and frameworks.
• Exhibit expert-level statistical modeling skills, including time-series modeling and forecasting.
• Have solid experience with Python and its common data science libraries and tools.
• Maintain a proactive, results-oriented attitude to contribute to the company's mission.
• Exhibit the ability to self-organize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Be fluent in English; German language proficiency is advantageous.
