About the Role

This position sits at the center of how the business uses data. The company is looking for a Data Analyst who can turn raw information into practical insight, improve operations, and help guide decisions in a scaling startup setting.

The business operates as a two-sided marketplace linking patients with healthcare advocates, so understanding the relationship between supply, demand, and match quality is essential. In this role, you will act as a thought partner to the business, identify gaps in performance and efficiency, and build the systems that help the company ask sharper questions and uncover what matters next.

What You’ll Do

• Spot workflow bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then turn data into recommendations that improve operations and support business strategy.
• Create and maintain dashboards and tracking systems that reduce manual reporting and give stakeholders easy access to the metrics they need.
• Work with engineering to keep data models accurate and dependable, and help improve SQL transformations so the analytics foundation can scale with the company.
• Convert technical findings into clear guidance for non-technical audiences, helping leadership understand trends, causes, and next steps.
• Work deeply with structured and semi-structured datasets, including nested JSON, to isolate useful signals from messy information.

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics within a tech company, marketplace, or product-led startup where data influenced product or business decisions.
• A strong focus on business impact, with the ability to define success in terms of outcomes rather than just deliverables.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses.
• Experience building dashboards and reports, ideally in Hex, and exposure to tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Comfort handling messy and real-world datasets, including nested JSON and unstructured data cleanup.
• Strong analytical ability to identify root causes rather than simply reporting numbers.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to product, operations, and leadership teams.
• Comfort working in startups, adapting to ambiguity, and responding quickly to changing priorities.

Bonus Experience

• Familiarity with dbt is strongly preferred and considered important for this role.
• Experience with Python or R for automation, statistical analysis, or forecasting.
• Background in operations or process improvement, especially using data to simplify workflows and reduce manual work.

Additional Information

This role is open only to applicants who are based in the United States.

The stated compensation range is $95,000 to $115,000.
