Role overview

This opportunity is for a data analyst to join a newly formed data and analytics function supporting a major reporting-platform rebuild initiative. The work centers on consolidating existing client reporting into a single dashboard and file-feed experience that can serve as the base for future modernization and AI-driven enhancements. The position combines analysis, scoping, documentation, and reporting support.

What you'll do

• Review the current spread of client reports across systems such as Cognos, SSIS, and server-based files, then help shape a unified reporting model.
• Translate business needs into technical reporting and visualization requirements through scoping, analysis, and detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with BI engineers so data is modeled accurately and presented effectively in Tableau and other BI platforms.
• Assist with wireframes, process maps, and workflow documents that show how dashboards and reports should operate together.
• Work with stakeholders to confirm requirements and verify that the data is accurate and reliable.

Required background

The role calls for someone with prior experience as a Data Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, along with strong problem-solving and analytical ability. A working grasp of SQL is needed, and familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools is important. You should also be comfortable writing requirement documents, mapping workflows, and capturing business rules clearly.
