About the Company

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Planning Coordinator to join the team in Perth on an 8:6 roster. This position offers the chance to support both planning and mobilisation activities for expanding site teams, playing a hands-on part in shutdown delivery from preparation through to execution.
What You’ll Do
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify job needs such as labour, training, timing, and equipment requirements.
- Spot possible gaps in planning and relay them to the relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with Recruitment to meet resourcing demands using internal planning tools.
- Submit purchase requisitions through the company’s purchasing systems.
- Keep the Job Tracker updated with key planning milestones and personnel requirements.
- Escalate major changes in scope or resourcing to the Resource Planning Manager for approval.
- Review incoming work and coordinate with stakeholders to confirm available Warrikal resources.
- Arrange travel and accommodation in line with company travel policies.
- Prepare and circulate labour lists within client deadlines.
- Respond quickly and professionally to client queries.
- Communicate schedule details to personnel through internal systems.
- Track daily arrivals and departures accurately and on time.
- Encourage personnel to use the Warrikal Web App.
What We’re Looking For
- You must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
- You should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in the resources sector.
- You’ll need confidence using training, mobilisation, or planning platforms such as ERMS, SuccessFactors, and INX.
- Experience with workforce or planning systems like OPMS, IFS, or SAP will be an advantage.
- You should bring a strong team mindset, a solid work ethic, and the flexibility to adapt in changing environments.
- You must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Strong organisation is essential for managing mobilisation requirements effectively.
- You’ll need to build and maintain professional relationships with personnel and stakeholders.
