Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position in Dammam is for a Closet and Kitchen Assembler who will work with workshop and field installation tasks. The role involves following drawings or installation plans, preparing materials, and assembling closet and kitchen parts both in the workshop and at customer locations.
Key Work Areas
- Interpret technical drawings and installation plans accurately before beginning assembly or fitting work.
- Measure, mark, and cut panels to the required sizes for each installation.
- Install and adjust hardware such as hinges, handles, and runners.
- Fit cabinets, shelves, and related accessories according to the project specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools correctly and safely during all tasks.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper alignment, finish, and quality, then make any necessary corrections.
- Keep the work area tidy and follow all safety procedures in the workshop and on site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and clients to support accurate and timely installation outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should bring practical carpentry or woodworking ability, especially in assembling and installing closets, kitchens, or similar cabinetry. They must be able to understand technical drawings, dimensions, and installation directions with accuracy. Prior work in joinery, woodworking, or kitchen/closet installation is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and vocational training in carpentry or a related field is considered an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Strong control in using hand and power tools, with careful attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills for working with team members and clients on site.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene standards, safe work practices, and proper material and tool handling.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and install cabinets and panels, and to work on ladders or in tight spaces when necessary.
