Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for a CAD specialist supporting one of our clients. The position is fully remote and can be done from anywhere. You will be responsible for building and updating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models while working closely with engineers and designers to keep the design process accurate and efficient.

Responsibilities

Create accurate CAD drawings and schematics based on given sketches and technical specifications.
Update and refine existing CAD models to reflect changing project needs.
Check drawings for dimensional accuracy and compliance with relevant industry practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve design mismatches or technical conflicts.
Keep CAD files, libraries, and supporting documentation well organized for smooth project handoff and continuity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
Strong experience in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings correctly.
High precision and close attention to detail in all design work.
Working knowledge of CAD standards and commonly accepted design practices.
