About the role
Canva is hiring a Business Development Representative to help expand its presence and support the company’s mission of making design accessible worldwide. The position sits within the Sales & Success organization and contributes to bringing Canva to teams, classrooms, and businesses across the globe.
Work location and flexibility
The main campus is located in Sydney, with additional campuses in Melbourne and co-working options in Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. Canva offers flexibility in how and where work is done, trusting team members to choose an arrangement that helps them and their teams perform at their best.
What you will work on
This role is expected to evolve as the company grows, but the current focus includes building demand, identifying opportunities, and supporting pipeline growth alongside the Sales & Success team.
- Work closely with Sales & Success to uncover strategic pipeline opportunities, create demand, and help drive outcomes.
- Develop pipeline proactively through outreach, social selling, and qualification conversations.
- Build deep knowledge of Canva’s product, market, territories, customers, competitors, and industry trends.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to keep go-to-market activity aligned.
- Use tools such as Salesforce, Pocus, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong to keep pipeline data accurate and well managed.
- Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance goals.
