Role summary
The Commercial Analytics group is seeking a Business and Data Analyst to help create and grow dependable data products that support performance tracking across sales, incentives, and payments. The role focuses on strong data governance, high data quality, and reliable outputs that business teams can trust.
In this position, you will collect business requirements, develop a deep understanding of the data needed, help shape the solution design, work with both technical and business partners, test and implement the solution, support end users, and help coordinate the overall project.
What you will do
Business and Data Analysts collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design analytics solutions, build advanced algorithms, and assess how well use cases perform. The best-fit candidate is curious, self-driven, and inventive, with a strong interest in solving practical problems through data.
You will be expected to deliver analytics on tight timelines, manage several reporting tools at once, and share progress updates and insights with leadership so feedback can be incorporated quickly. You will also work across Sales, Brand, and Finance to keep data aligned for sales, incentives, and vehicle payment reporting, while helping teams adopt the solution through knowledge sharing and change support.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Research.
- At least 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative reasoning, with the ability to assess processes and data objectively.
- Strong skills in defining problems, analyzing issues, and solving them effectively.
- Proven experience delivering projects and supporting change management.
- Ability to collaborate with external data partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred experience
- Experience working with incentives and vehicle payments data is strongly preferred.
- Background in brand management, production sales, or a media-related environment is desired.
- 3 or more years of automotive experience.
- Comfort using cloud-based environments.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.
