About the role

Einstein Bros. Bagels is looking for a Baker II to help prepare fresh bagels and support a lively bakery environment in Carmel, Indiana. The brand has been baking bagels daily since 1995 and emphasizes a workplace centered on positivity, guest experience, and balance. Stores close at 2 PM, so team members are not expected to work late evenings or nights.

What you will do

As a baker, you will start early in the morning—sometimes as early as 3:00 AM—and focus on the core bakery production that keeps the store running. You will help maintain product availability throughout the shift, support guests and teammates, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming store.

• Keep the bagel wall and pastry case stocked for each shift.
• Assist with guest service tasks such as taking orders and preparing sandwiches.
• Maintain food quality and beverage standards.
• Help keep the store organized, safe, and clean.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate can handle multiple tasks, stay effective during busy periods, and work early mornings, varied schedules, and weekends as business needs require. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass a background check where allowed by law. A valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred, though it is only required at certain locations, and driving qualifications must meet company policy.
